Athena Film Festival
The Athena Film Festival is a project I created for an assignment on Institutional Design, where we explored conceptual and visual directions in signage, merchandise, web & app, print, and logo design for an organization of our own creation.
Athena Film Fest would be a Minneapolis-based Film Festival specifically for women in film- whether they are behind the camera or in front. Women filmmakers only make up 18% of major filmmakers globally, and that needs to change. Hopefully with the help of organizations like this one, there will be more places for women in film to get resources, opportunities to learn and work, and a community of support to bring their visions to reality.
