As the in-house designer for the Concordia University St. Paul Theatre Department, I was given the project of branding and marketing their 2019 production of Die Fledermaus, a gaudy operetta featuring a large cast, an impressive set, and phenomenal musical numbers sung by the theatre and music department. The finished design for Die Fledermaus features the silhouette of a handheld mask for the masquerade ball and opera themes throughout the show. The background of the poster is a rouge-red to nod to the idea of royalty and high-class. The title is made from my personal hand-lettering to give it a ribboning effect. This branding identity ended up being one of the most in-depth projects I did for a theatre department.
